Thank you for your continued friendship and support of The Ben Lucas Foundation. We’re excited to announce that we’ve recently launched a new website at benlucasfoundation.com and have partnered with a new fund administrator, The Community Foundation of Greenville, which has managed philanthropic organizations like ours since 1956. We believe these additions will make communication and donor management much easier as we look to continue the mission of the Ben Lucas Foundation in partnership with each of you.
Your generosity has allowed us to continue our relationship with Tulip Hill Recovery, a family-owned recovery center in Murfreesboro, TN that we have supported for several years now. Thanks to your support, we have been able to touch a number of lives at THR, including Ryan Herndon’s, who has graduated from the recovery program and is now on staff at THR, spreading hope and helping others with their recovery.

“The Ben Lucas Foundation and Tulip Hill Recovery gave me hope. I realized I had people who believed in me even when I did not believe in myself. I want to thank the Ben Lucas Foundation and anyone who contributed to the Ben Lucas Foundation for helping people like myself. The program and people at Tulip hill Recovery gave me something I never knew was possible, freedom from active addiction. There was a level of accountability and structure I needed to build a solid foundation for my recovery. Today I can set and accomplish goals such as working in recovery, going back to school, and giving back what was given to me. I have been clean and sober for 14 months now.”
For this year’s fundraising initiative, our primary objective is to support 4 individuals at Tulip Hill, who, collectively, need $11,600 to meet their insurance deductibles and continue on their road to recovery. Any remaining funds will be committed to ARCHway Institute’s Hope Fund, which provides recovery scholarships to vetted applicants. ARCHway will match the first $10,000 we raise in order to grant 40 $500 scholarships.
Thank you again for your continued support and for playing an integral, essential role in allowing stories like Ryan’s and others’ to take form. We’re incredibly grateful to be able to continue this work in Ben’s honor.
